   3. Drawings are held once a week, on Thursday evenings.
   4. An optional Power Hit entry guarantees the Powerball number but costs more.
3. New Zealand:
   1. Players select six numbers from a pool of 40 and one Powerball number from a pool of 10.
   2. The minimum jackpot starts at NZD $4 million.
   3. Drawings occur twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday.
   4. Powerball can only be added to a Lotto ticket, not played on its own.
4. South Africa:
   1. Players pick five numbers from a pool of 50 and one Powerball number from a pool of 20.
   2. The minimum jackpot is R3 million.
   3. Drawings are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
   4. A Powerball Plus option offers a second chance to win with an additional drawing.

4. Advance Entries

Once you’ve selected your Powerball entry type, you can choose the draws and number of weeks you’d like to play.
