My Five - Deepak Mittal
My Five - Deepak Mittal
- Start early and set hours
I am an early riser, and the first thing I do is practice gratitude. I get to work at 8 AM and manage my schedule beforehand. Working from home has allowed me to invest more time focusing on the company's strategic planning and managing my time.
- Staying physically fit
I set aside at least 45 minutes every day to walk, at times extending it to 90 minutes. This gives me a much-needed refresher for the rest of the day.
- Consuming healthy foods
I have recently adopted a zero-sugar diet and, in general, believe in eating a well-balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, and whole grains. Additionally, I keep myself hydrated by drinking lots of water.
- Staying mentally fit
Meditation is the key to my mental fitness. It completely relaxes my mind, allowing me to devote all of my concentration to the task at hand.
- Work-Life harmony over work-life balance
While work is important, I allocate some family and me time. Including self-care in my routine helps me refresh my body, mind, and soul. I sometimes unplug myself from work to enjoy the moment & recharge my thoughts.
