I force myself to go out of my comfort zone, says Deepak Mittal, CEO, TO THE NEW
After hours: I force myself to go out of my comfort zone, says Deepak Mittal, CEO, TO THE NEW Every day is different with new opportunities to make an impact. I also love the fact that being a CEO, I get to map out the trajectory of the company and look ahead to tomorrow’s success.
1. The Job
I absolutely love my job. Every day is different with new opportunities to make an impact. I also love the fact that being a CEO, I get to map out the trajectory of the company and look ahead to tomorrow’s success. Another thing is the people. I have a great team which is always ready to provide unconditional support and makes TO THE NEW a great place to work.
2. The Weekdays
After dropping my kids to school, I reach office by 8 am. The first thing that I do after reaching office is to set priorities for myself and my team for the day. Reading about clients, competitors and industry updates is a routine. After 9:30 am, it is a series of review meetings, calls and emails with my teams and clients. Every day, I force myself to do something that is out of my comfort zone.
3. The Weekend
I try to spend maximum time with my kids and I also try to catch up on reading some industry reports. The weekends are also an opportunity for me to introspect on bigger issues.
4. The Toys
I rely on gadgets like the iPhone, the Apple Watch and Kindle Paperwhite for both work and leisure.
5. The Logos
For shirts, I like wearing Polo and in footwear, Nike remains my favourite.
